Goodstart Educational Center is a family-owned corporation that was founded by Mrs. Agnes F. Jereos. In 1991, Mrs. Jereos succumbed to lingering illness but it was her wish that the school continue to operate. The Goodstart tradition is now sustained by the passion of her daughters in teaching.
Directress
Teacher Paola graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She is the current directress at Goodstart Philam and is in charge of overall operations and staff development. Having had more than a decade in kindergarten teaching experience, she continues her teacher training by attending seminars and talks by various institutions like U.P. and Ateneo. Married to Red Atendido, she has two precocious boys, Chino and Sancho.

Program Director
Teacher Jamie attained her degree in Legal Management at the Ateneo de Manila in 1998. Her exposure to the corporate world made her realize that her calling was in teaching and in 1999, she decided to join the Goodstart faculty. She is currently the Program Director and is in charge of curriculum development and implementation. She is presently a candidate for a Master’s degree in Basic Education in the Ateneo. She has kept abreast with various seminars in early childhood education sponsored by different organizations. She is married to Leonard Lantin and has two children, Enrico and Manu.

Liason Officer, DepEd
Teacher Stephanie earned her degree in Elementary Education at the Philippine Women’s University –Taft in 1986. With almost two decades of teaching experience, she is currently the school’s Liason Officer to the Department of Education. She continues her teacher training through seminars and talks on early childhood education given by various institutions.
In a quest for holistic development of the school’s students, Goodstart began a pilot project called the Early Intervention Program. The program aims to detect any developmental concerns that might predispose children to any academic difficulties in the big school setting. There is also a provision for consultancy services in speech and language, fine and gross motor skills plus pre-academic aptitudes.
Goodstart has a team for the developmental screening service and is composed of a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist

Speech and Language Pathologist
Teacher Aileen graduated from U.P. Manila College of Allied Medical Professions in 1999. She finished her Master’s degree in the same field in 2004. She has taught in the College of Allied Medical Professions, is affiliated with St. Luke’s Hospital, and is a board member/officer of the Philippine Society of Speech and Language Pathologists.

Physical Therapist
Teacher Dong graduated for the U.P. Manila College of Allied Medical Professions in 1996. He is a teacher at U.P. Manila and is affiliated with different developmental pediatricians and therapy centers in Manila and Makati.

Occupational Therapist
Teacher Jen is a graduate of U.P. Manila College of Allied Medical Professions in 1996. She is affiliated with different developmental pediatricians and therapy centers in Manila and Makati.
