Our Roots and Wings
Mrs. Agnes F. Jereos, a dedicated teacher from the Ateneo de Manila had a vision to create a safe, enriching, and stimulating environment for young children. Her passion led her to establish Goodstart Educational Center in 1975, now more known as Goodstart Preschool. Since then, we’ve been nurturing the curious minds and playful spirits of little ones.
At Goodstart Preschool, we understand that the transition from home to school can be challenging for young children. That’s why we offer the ideal setting to help our students adjust, with a perfect balance of teacher-directed activities and child-initiated play. Our approach has helped countless children over the years to feel comfortable, confident, and excited about learning.

Our Philosophy
We think that the most important part of our program for young children is how they feel about being in school. We want them to enjoy coming to school and to have fun learning. We also want them to feel like they can learn well and be successful in class.
To help them be creative thinkers, we encourage our students to feel confident and excited about learning. They get to play a lot, but we also have a plan for what they will learn each day.
We care about all the ways that preschoolers grow and learn, like how they move their bodies, how they get along with others, how they feel, and how they think. We make sure to help them grow in all of these areas.
